The Site Health score, explained

A single Site Health score combines documented on-page, canonical, metadata, schema, internal-linking, internationalization, and measurement dimensions. Core Web Vitals remain separate. Here's what goes into the score.

SEO teams drown in findings. A single Site Health score cuts through the noise: it rolls up on-page, canonical, metadata, internationalization, schema, internal-linking, and measurement signals into one number.

What goes into the score

Each measured dimension contributes a documented weight. Missing dimensions are excluded and the remaining weights are renormalized. Serious findings also cap the headline score so a critical problem cannot hide behind clean sections.

How to move it

The score is only useful if it points to action. Every finding should link to the exact page or element that supports it, and each proposed fix should show the estimated improvement to SearchVoro's own Site Health score — not a traffic or revenue forecast. Fix, re-run, and measure the result.

One score also makes regressions visible. When a deploy quietly breaks canonical tags or metadata, a drop in Site Health can surface it for investigation.

Sources and review basis

Reviewed against the linked primary documentation and, where relevant, the current SearchVoro implementation. Sources support context and methodology; they do not turn an observed association into a causal claim.

About this byline

“SearchVoro Team” identifies collaborative product and engineering material, not an invented individual author. Named contributor and reviewer profiles will be added only with the person's approval.
