An answer unit is a concise, self-contained passage written to answer a specific reader question. That structure can improve clarity and retrieval readiness, but it does not guarantee quotation or citation by an AI engine.
The anatomy of a strong answer unit
- Lead with the answer — avoid unnecessary throat-clearing.
- Keep the passage concise enough to understand independently; there is no universal extraction-length guarantee.
- Make it self-contained — it should read correctly with minimal surrounding context.
- Use plain, specific language and concrete numbers only where they are supported.
- Place it directly under a heading that mirrors the question.
Write for the question, not the keyword
Write for the reader's question rather than repeating a keyword: phrase the passage the way a person asks, then answer it directly. If a query has several sub-questions, use one tight answer unit per sub-question rather than one long paragraph that buries them all.
Then publish, check whether the page is cited in later observations for that prompt, and refine passages that are not. The result remains an observed association, not a citation guarantee.
Sources and review basis

Reviewed against the linked primary documentation and, where relevant, the current SearchVoro implementation. Sources support context and methodology; they do not turn an observed association into a causal claim.
